2000 Winter Rains

We made our dreamly day

Along the yawning ocean edge.

Put in a leg then kiss,

Step out in bliss.

From the seashorey edge

From the seashorey sedge

And sip up our love

And seep up our love

As swimming as that sea.

The look in her eyes takes my breath

And leaves it beat and drains

And cleans out all the rust

from my weakened wildman chains.

And we slow down cold death

by 2000 winter rains.

She asks for me, from the blue of the sky

To live with her until stars cry

And the moon moans, and the wind weeps

And the sun sings those words of love

to only her and me.
